Where the trail opens to the tundra
This is Matanuska Peak at 6119 ft elevation. The trail started at about 200 ft elevation. Tyler woke up this morning and decided he wanted to climb a mountain, I wanted to sleep so he went solo. Luckily he took his tripod so he could take pictures!!
